Position Overview

Primary Skills: Project management (advanced), consumer hardware products (advanced), Cross-functional communication (advanced), Vendor management (intermediate), Manufacturing (advanced), Operations Management (advanced) Contract Type: W2 only Duration: 6+ Months Contract (High possibility of extension) Location: Mountain View, CA (Hybrid) Pay Range: $68-$70/hr #LP

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our team and drive the successful delivery of large-scale consumer hardware products. You will work directly with production and operations teams to manage complex manufacturing schedules, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and ensure on-time delivery of products to market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Execution: Own end-to-end program management for consumer hardware products, from development through manufacturing and launch
  • Manufacturing Coordination: Partner closely with production teams to establish realistic timelines, manage dependencies, and maintain tight manufacturing schedules
  • Operations Management: Optimize operational processes to meet production targets and scale requirements for large-scale consumer hardware
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the central point of coordination between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and leadership teams
  • Risk Management: Identify potential delays or risks early and implement mitigation strategies to keep programs on track
  • Metrics & Reporting: Track key program metrics, provide regular status updates, and elevate issues promptly
Required Qualifications
  • Proven Program Management experience in consumer hardware, manufacturing, or operations (minimum 5+ years)
  • Manufacturing background with direct exposure to large-scale production environments
  • Strong understanding of supply chain, production schedules, and operational constraints
  • Track record of successfully delivering hardware products on time and within scope
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and logistics
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
  • Experience managing multiple programs simultaneously
