Job summary

Ontic is seeking a Project Manager to join our Creedmoor, North Carolina site. You will report to the Director of PMO and lead global transitions from conception to completion, ensuring operational readiness and successful project delivery onsite in Creedmoor.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in project management within aerospace/manufacturing, with budgeting and MS Office proficiency. This role offers an onsite work structure and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in aerospace/manufacturing.
• Understanding of project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of aerospace industry/manufacturing processes.
• Experience with budgeting and resource allocation procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Manage complex global transition and recommissioning projects from conception to completion using appropriate methodologies.
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to project teams while coaching other Project Managers.
• Monitor governance, timelines, risks, and budgets, ensuring delivery against milestones.
• Lead risk and opportunity management, including mitigation strategies and escalation as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define project scope, structure, and resource requirements.
• Oversee project documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communications, including Gate Reviews and performance updates.

Our team is looking for a Project Manager to join them. You will report to the Director of PMO and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, North Carolina. The Project Manager is responsible for leading global transitions in all aspects of commissioning project execution and capital project operational readiness.

To be considered for the Project Manager opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of experience in project management, ideally within aerospace or manufacturing environments
• Understanding of project management methodologies
• Knowledge of aerospace industry/manufacturing processes

As a Project Manager, you will:
