Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple construction and infrastructure-related projects from bid preparation through final closeout. This individual will work closely with field operations, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management, estimating, budgeting, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
  • Participate in the preparation and submission of competitive project bids and proposals.
  • Assist in developing project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and cost projections.
  • Coordinate project startup activities and support successful execution through completion.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address issues that could impact schedule, budget, or quality objectives.
  • Ensure all project documentation is maintained accurately and timely.
Vendor & Subcontractor Management
  • Solicit pricing and negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate subcontractor engagement and support contract administration processes.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Financial Management
  • Track project costs, labor productivity, and financial performance.
  • Review project expenditures and support accurate billing and invoicing activities.
  • Manage change orders and contract modifications, including cost analysis and documentation.
  • Monitor profitability and identify opportunities to improve project outcomes.
Compliance & Documentation
  • Coordinate permits, inspections, certifications, and required approvals.
  • Manage submission of project reports, drawings, specifications, and other contract deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, contractual requirements, and industry standards.
  • Support project closeout activities, including final documentation and turnover requirements.
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Partner closely with field leadership and operational teams to meet project goals.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to support employee development.
  • Foster a collaborative and professional work environment.
  • Continuously stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and evolving construction methods.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Preferred fields of study include Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of project management experience within the construction, infrastructure, civil, or related industries.
  • Experience with estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with contract administration and project documentation.
