Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience managing technical IT projects across infrastructure and software environments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and IT concepts.
• Able to collaborate with software engineering, networking, cloud, security, DevOps, DB, and app teams.
• Excellent planning, organization, prioritization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced MSP setting.
• Effective written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience identifying and managing risks, dependencies, timelines, and competing priorities.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or similar tools.

This person must work effectively within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment, managing technology projects across multiple clients, priorities, and technical teams.

Requirements

• Experience managing technical IT projects, ideally across both infrastructure and software/application environments
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and general IT infrastructure concepts
• Experience working with technical teams such as software engineering, infrastructure, networking, cloud, security, DevOps, database, and application teams
• Strong project planning, organization, prioritization, and documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-moving environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both highly technical resources and non-technical business stakeholders
• Experience identifying and managing project risks, dependencies, timelines, and competing priorities
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management environments
• Familiarity with common project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable.
