Job summary

International Erosion Control Association in Cincinnati, OH seeks an experienced construction professional to lead projects from preconstruction and estimating through design coordination, subcontracting, execution, and closeout.

You will manage budgets, schedules, client communications, and field coordination with safety in mind, delivering complex commercial projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Approximately 4–7 years of experience in construction project management, preconstruction, estimating, design-build, or a related construction role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred; equivalent construction experience and relevant coursework may be considered.
  • Experience managing projects of varying size, scope, and complexity.
  • Strong background in estimating, budgeting, bid analysis, subcontractor management, scheduling, cost control, and project financial reporting.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and technical project requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Procore, and construction accounting or project-management software. Experience with Viewpoint is preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and internal leadership.
  • Ability to analyze project issues, gather relevant data, evaluate options, and make sound decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, train, and advise junior team members.
  • Strong organization, time-management, negotiation, and multi-project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with identifying and coordinating appropriate design professionals, consultants, and trade partners.
  • Lead or support the preparation of conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, bid packages, scopes of work, and technical proposal content.
  • Coordinate internal estimate reviews and ensure pricing, assumptions, inclusions, exclusions, and risk items are thoroughly evaluated.
  • Review and analyze subcontractor and vendor bids to confirm full scope coverage prior to award.
  • Support design development and coordinate project design teams throughout preconstruction.

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and improved project delivery.
  • Promote and enforce strong jobsite safety standards in coordination with field leadership.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced construction professional to manage projects from early preconstruction and estimating through design coordination, subcontracting, execution, and closeout. Project Types

Core Responsibilities

Preconstruction and Estimating
