Job summary

Barringer Construction seeks a Project Manager to lead commercial builds from bid to closeout in the Carolinas market. You will manage budgets, schedules, and client communications while coordinating with design partners, vendors, and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years as a PM on commercial projects, a construction-related degree or equivalent experience, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office. Some travel and field presence required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as an acting Project Manager on commercial construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office; Viewpoint (Vista) a plus.
• Experience with estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Split between office and active jobsite settings, with travel and physical conditions.

What You'll Do

Experience

• 5+ years as an acting Project Manager on commercial construction projects.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field, or equivalent industry experience.

Skills & Tools

• Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Viewpoint (Vista) a plus.
• Working knowledge of estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Split between office and active jobsite settings, with varying conditions including changes in elevation, temperature fluctuations, and occasional dust or noise.
• Ability to move around construction sites safely and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Some travel between projects and offices across our market; occasional early mornings or late days as project milestones require.
