Job description

Are you a construction professional with strong project management skills and experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, schedules, and budgets? This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of high-visibility glazing projects, protect project profitability, and advance your career with a respected industry leader that has been serving customers for more than 90 years.

As the primary point of contact after the estimating phase, you will oversee project execution, manage client relationships, coordinate labor and materials, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably.

Key Responsibilities
Project Transition & Planning
  • Conduct detailed project handoff meetings with estimating teams.
  • Review project scope, costs, schedules, and specialized material requirements.
  • Align execution strategies with project objectives.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Prepare and manage comprehensive project submittals.
  • Coordinate approvals from clients, architects, and contractors.
  • Track submittal status and maintain project momentum.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate and complete.
Project Execution & Oversight
  • Monitor active project schedules, budgets, and progress.
  • Analyze project performance and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, and material resources to maximize productivity.
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Client & Contractor Relations
  • Act as the primary contact for:
  • General Contractors
  • Clients
  • Architects
  • Project Stakeholders
  • Build strong professional relationships.
  • Resolve project issues and bottlenecks promptly.
  • Maintain regular communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project costs and profitability.
  • Track budget performance and financial outcomes.
  • Evaluate and price change orders.
  • Support revenue growth through effective project controls.
  • Prepare accurate monthly progress billings.
Resource Coordination
  • Collaborate with office staff and field teams to optimize resource utilization.
  • Coordinate scheduling of labor and material deliveries.
  • Ensure resources are available when required to maintain productivity.
  • Occasionally assist in estimating smaller incoming opportunities.
  • Support pricing reviews and project evaluations.
  • Provide field-based insight to improve future estimates.
Project Administration
  • Maintain organized project schedules and digital filing systems.
  • Track project communications, submittals, and change orders.
  • Ensure accurate project records are maintained throughout execution.
Required Qualifications
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Strong construction knowledge and understanding of project delivery.
