Sandis is currently looking for a Transportation Project Manager to join our team in Campbell, CA. Our project managers oversee and supervise a design team of up to six individuals. If you have a strong technical background in roadway/public infrastructure work, we think you will love it here!

Cool Stuff you get to do:
- Be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling project team activities, including but not limited to: reviewing and/or supervising technical aspects of work as well as defining and overseeing project scopes, budgets and schedules
- Coordinate with all project members, attending/running meetings and assuring that all project documentation is maintained
- Preparation of a wide range of designs and analyses including:
- Roadway/intersection design
- Traffic operations analysis
- Safety analysis
- Traffic signal design, coordination, and timing
- Traffic impact studies
- Parking analysis, among other transportation related documents.
- Oversee the production of plan, specification and estimate packages
- Assist Marketing Department and Leadership Group in the pursuit of public project opportunities.
- Ensure appropriate quality control measures have been implemented
- Maintain ongoing client relationships, pursue new professional connections, and seek new project opportunities with new and current clients.
What will help you be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or transportation engineering
- 8+ years of recent experience in the Civil/Transportation Engineering Industry and 2+ years as a Project Manager
- Professional Civil or Traffic Engineer License preferred.
- Strong technical background with ability to understand complex code and design requirements.
- Caltrans and local agency experience
- Strong technical writing skills with the ability to prepare reports as well as RFP responses.
- Ability to lead project meetings and manage subconsultants.
