Job summary

Job Description

Job Overview: The Project Manager role will effectively manage to completion all projects assigned; handling competing priorities and eliminating roadblocks with the support of the Senior Project Manager and other members of the team. Projects will include multiple product lines consisting of Medium Voltage Equipment, Low Voltage Equipment, Power Transformers, Controls and Monitoring as well as service coordination.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Lead the multi‑disciplinary and cross‑functional teams, including engineering, operations, vendor management, logistics, and services to ensure successful project execution.
  • Manage all phases of the project from inception through completion.
  • Be responsible for financial, technical, quality, and scheduling aspects of each assigned project.
  • Understand and execute tasks and deliverables for each project assigned.
  • Maintain urgency with stakeholders for deliverables.
  • Act as the point of contact and representative for JDC Power Systems LLC in weekly jobsite Teams meetings, communicate deliveries, and resolve issues.
  • Provide regular status updates to team and management on work performed, plans, budget, and overall project status.
  • Be proactive in identifying and managing risk mitigation.
  • Exercise strong customer focus and manage all customer expectations.
  • Analyze deficiencies and timelines.
  • Work with team and Senior Project Manager to create new plans if results are inadequate or untimely.
  • Effectively communicate with outside suppliers at all levels, from order management to senior management as required.
  • Develop and monitor reports.
  • Provide support and identify opportunities for improvement of plans/processes.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.
  • Work on-site; travel 20% to manufacturing facilities, job sites, and corporate office with notice.
Education and Experience
  • 5–7 years progressive experience in a related field with successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge.
  • BS/BA in a related discipline or related work experience required.
Required Skills
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and specifications.
  • Advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of the organization’s business practices, issues confronted, and ability to contribute to problem resolution.
  • Proactive and solution‑oriented with attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact and collaborate with all team members within the organization and achieve positive results.
  • Ability to interact directly with customers and vendors at multiple levels.
  • Experience with contractors and change‑order management.
  • Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Position is on‑site.
Travel Requirements

20% travel to manufacturing facilities, job sites, and corporate office with notice.
