Lighthouse Technology Services, Inc. seeks a seasoned Program Manager for a 12-18 month hybrid role in Buffalo, NY. You will lead cross-functional programs, align stakeholders, and drive governance, risk, and delivery across multiple projects.

The role requires 8+ years of PM experience, ability to communicate with executive leadership, and experience managing $5M+ programs with 30-50 FTE over 18-24 months. PMP/PgMP certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage risk, governance, and dependency coordination across constituent projects to ensure program success.
• Develop comprehensive project plans including work breakdown structures, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
• Monitor and control cost, schedule, and technical performance to identify variances.
• Facilitate customer acceptance by managing changes to scope and schedule using defined processes.
• Build and lead high-performing project teams through mentoring, training, and motivation.
• Implement approved risk mitigation actions and workarounds to address program constraints.
• Coordinate resource sharing among constituent projects to optimize program benefit.
• Maintain internal control standards and ensure adherence to risk and regulatory policies across all activities.

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Program Manager position! This is a 12-18 months contract and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY.

This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead program planning and execution across multiple related projects impacting three or more business functions
• Drive stakeholder and executive communication, regularly presenting initiative status to senior leadership in a clear and professional manner
• Manage risk, governance, and dependency coordination across constituent projects to ensure program success
• Develop comprehensive project plans including work breakdown structures, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation strategies
• Monitor and control cost, schedule, and technical performance using appropriate tools and techniques to identify variances
• Facilitate customer acceptance by managing changes to project scope and schedule using defined verification and change management processes
• Build and lead high-performing project teams through mentoring, training, and motivation to boost morale and efficiency
• Implement approved risk mitigation actions and workarounds to address program constraints and maintain project momentum
• Coordinate resource sharing among constituent projects to optimize overall program benefit and efficiency
• Maintain internal control standards and ensure adherence to risk and regulatory policies across all program activities

What You'll Need to Have:

• 8+ years of proven project management experience managing large-scale programs impacting multiple business areas
• Strong knowledge of project management methodology with demonstrated ability to manage projects from initiation to close
• Proven ability to communicate with executive management and influence decision-making across organizational levels
• Experience managing projects with scope of $5M+, team sizes of 30-50 FTE, and durations of 18-24 months
• Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to identify solutions while balancing program constraints and objectives
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills necessary to build trust, gain consensus, and manage stakeholder relationships

Preference For The Following:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred
• Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification and Master's degree are a plus

Pay Range:

$60-70+/hr
