Job summary

BL Harbert International LLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead on-site execution in Beaufort, SC. The role will supervise the Assistant Project Manager and coordinate submittals, RFIs, and material deliveries while ensuring safety and progress documentation.

You will develop and manage schedules, control costs, and enforce risk management per project requirements; anticipate changes and resolve disputes with owners and design teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 3+ years relevant experience or 5+ years relevant experience with a non-relevant degree.
• OSHA 10 Hour certification.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; Primavera P6; Timberline PJ; Viewpoint; Navisworks; Revit; SketchUp.

Responsibilities

• Supervising all direct responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager in coordination with the Project Executive.
• Oversee submittal process, RFI process, and coordination of material deliveries.
• Manage job photos, progress documentation, and completion of close-out requirements.
• Support jobsite safety enforcement and lead schedule development, management and reporting.
• Oversee cost control and reporting; enforce risk management parameters; manage change and disputes.

Educational Requirements Of Position

• Degree/Experience
  • 4 year degree in a relevant curriculum from an accredited college or university + minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • or 4 year degree in a non-relevant curriculum from an accredited college or university + minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Trade Certification/Accreditation
  • OSHA 10 Hour

Technical Requirements Of Positon

• Software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 (or similar scheduling software/application)
  • Proficiency in Timberline PJ (or similar project management software/application)
  • Proficiency in Viewpoint (or similar AP software/application)
  • Working knowledge of Navisworks, Revit and Sketch-up
• General
  • Mastery of Quantity Take-off & Subcontractor Solicitation to support estimating
  • In-depth understanding of building components and trade sequencing
  • Working knowledge of construction surveying/layout
  • Working knowledge of contract language
  • Basic understanding of risk management

Essential Function Of The Position

• Supervising all direct responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager. In the absence of an APM, these responsibilities shall be handled directly.
