Project Manager – Epic

Epic is a leading software company that builds solutions to improve patient care worldwide. We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Project Management team in Madison, WI. The role involves driving impactful projects, presenting to hospital leadership, coordinating end‑user training, and ensuring the success of new installations across health systems.

Location & Relocation

This position is based at our campus in Madison, WI. Epic provides financial relocation assistance to qualified candidates.

Customers

Epic serves top‑ranked health systems worldwide, including Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, Cleveland Clinic, Kaiser Permanente, and major academic medical centers throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead software installations and ensure successful onboarding of new Epic community members.
• Coordinate end‑user training and provide ongoing support as healthcare providers go live.
• Present project status and outcomes to hospital leadership.
• Travel across the United States and internationally as required (anticipated 25‑60% travel).
• Exercise autonomy in decision‑making with full support and guidance from managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or greater in any major.
• History of academic and professional success.
• Willingness to travel 25‑60% of the work days, with typical month including 1‑2 trips of 2‑4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID‑19 vaccination required.
• No prior software experience required.
