Job summary

MAP, a leading growth solutions partner within the WPP network, is seeking a Project Manager in Austin to lead complex marketing and transformation projects. You will work with designers, UX architects, and developers to translate client needs into actionable plans and deliverables.

You will collaborate with Account Leads to manage budgets, timelines, and risk, while driving opportunities with existing clients and delivering consistent updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience, preferably in marketing or agency setting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Understanding of marketing principles, including CRM strategy and marketing technology.
• Experience with marketing platforms such as Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce or Braze.
• Ability to speak “tech language” and work with developers to translate vision into buildable solutions.
• Ideally some experience with Agentic AI and modern automated workflow environments.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Understanding client requirements and translating those to well-defined projects.

• Identifying opportunities to optimize project management processes.
• Identifying and scoping new project opportunities with existing clients.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships and communicating expectations.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.

What will your day look like?

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Understanding client requirements and translating those to well-defined projects
• Developing detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets

• Proactively Identifying and scoping new project opportunities with existing clients.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, proactively managing expectations, and providing regular communication.
• Collaborating effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Who are you going to work with?

You will be collaborating with a network of Project Managers, Designers, User Experience Architects, and Developers. You'll report to the Account Lead, who will provide guidance and support through regular meetings to discuss projects and explore new opportunities. Our flat organizational structure promotes a collaborative and innovative environment, nurturing the talents of our diverse team, many of whom have been with us for over a decade.

Additionally, You Bring

• Proven project management experience, preferably in a marketing or agency setting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• An understanding of marketing principles, including CRM strategy and marketing technology.
• Experience working with various marketing platforms, such as Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce or Braze
• Ability to speak “tech language” and experience working alongside developers and architects to translate vision into buildable solutions.
• Ideally some experience with Agentic AI, Digital Coworkers and modern automated workflow environments
• Comfort with ambiguity and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience with project management tools (Jira, Smartsheet) and PowerBI is a plus.
• Strong skills in the Microsoft office package, especially PowerPoint.
