Job summary

Texas GovLink, Inc. is an Austin-based firm which has been a leading provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to be a key resource on a technical services team.

Work Location

Onsite. Candidates must be local to Austin, TX**

Responsibilities

Project managers are the people in charge of a specific project or projects within a company. As the project manager, your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on. Project managers might work by themselves or be in charge of a team to get the job done.

Qualifications

Minimum (Required):

• Experience managing projects through the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/control, and closure.
• Experience developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and resource assignments.
• Experience managing project scope, requirements, changes, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional business and technical teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Experience communicating project status, risks, issues, decisions, schedules, and dependencies to project sponsors, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
• Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, resource utilization, expenditures, or other project financial controls.
• Experience using project management and work-tracking tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or comparable tools.
• Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, third parties, or external project resources.

Preferred (Optional):

• Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent recognized project-management certification.
• Experience managing projects within a public sector or public transportation environment.
