Job summary

A leading project management firm is seeking a Project Manager with remote capabilities to oversee specific projects. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a project manager, preferably in State Agencies, and possess strong skills in planning, budgeting, and team coordination. This role allows for initiative and independent judgment, with additional preference given to candidates with major information resources project experience. The contract may last up to two years.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience leading, coordinating, reporting, and providing oversight.
• Experience with major information resources (MIRP) projects is a plus.

Work Location: Texas only (100% Remote)

Level Description

• 3- 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressive broad-based information systems, system integration and project delivery experience.
• Experience working with external vendors and/or Quality Assurance efforts a plus.
