Responsibilities

The Worker will lead cross-functional teams through the execution of complex technical projects, including the Mainframe Transformation initiative. This role requires strong experience managing enterprise-level projects involving Azure cloud environments, software development(.NET),DevOps practices, and data integration.

The Candidate will be responsible for delivering multiple projects on schedule and within budget by applying project management best practices, ensuring scope alignment, managing stakeholder expectations, and tracking project risks and issues. The ideal candidate will have technical acumen to understand architecture and integration efforts and provide oversight across SDLC phases using Agile methodologies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Project Management: Lead the end-to-end management of Mainframe Transformation and Azure-based technical initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate communication between technical teams, business units, and leadership to ensure alignment.
  • Technical Oversight: Understand and manage technical solution roadmaps in Azure, including DevOps CI/CD and software integration strategies.
  • Agile Delivery: Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery milestones.
  • Risk Management: Proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring: Oversee quality assurance and monitor solution performance in collaboration with technical leads.
  • Documentation: Ensure the creation and maintenance of key project documents such as charters, plans, reports, and dashboards.
  • Compliance: Support client’s regulatory obligations in the Oil, Gas, and Energy sector through disciplined delivery and documentation

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in computer science or a related field
  • 6 years experience in Technical project management for cloud-based (Azure preferred) enterprise initiatives
  • 6 years experience managing SDLC-based projects using Agile/Scrum
  • 6 years of familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and related tools and workflows
  • 6 years experience managing or coordinating projects involving .NET Core, C#, SQL Server
  • 6 years of strong leadership and ability to manage cross-functional technical teams
  • 6 years experience with resource planning, project budgeting, and vendor coordination
  • 6 (Optional) years experience with mainframe modernization or transformation projects (added advantage)
  • 6 years of excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills
  • 6 years experience in creating project plans, dashboards, Gantt charts, and executive status reports
  • 6 years of meticulous attention to detail with an ability to produce high-quality work in a dynamic environment
  • 6 years of highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines
  • 6 years of extensive skill in effective verbal and written communications with stakeholders
