Job summary

Arctiq in Atlanta is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead multiple IT projects, coordinating resources and ensuring delivery on time and within scope.

You will partner with PMO, engage clients, and manage cross-functional teams, applying Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methods to drive successful outcomes.

Strong communication, budgeting, risk management, and vendor/contractor oversight are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, project management, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years directing medium to large IT projects with varying complexity.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, Waterfall and hybrid approaches.
• Experience with cross-functional Agile teams and sprint planning.
• PMP preferred; additional certifications like CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP are a plus.
• Strong financial acumen in budgeting, margin, revenue and cost tracking.
• Experience working with external clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion within timelines and budget.
• Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, milestones, resources and budget controls.
• Collaborate with PMO to manage resources, schedules and capacity planning.
• Serve as primary client contact delivering communication and executive summaries.
• Facilitate internal comms with Client Directors, Architects, PMO and Leadership.
• Partner with Service Delivery Leadership to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Apply Agile/Scrum, Waterfall and hybrid approaches as required.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
• Maintain thorough project documentation and progress reporting.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client specs.
• Follow PMO standards and contribute to process improvements.
• Establish and track KPIs to measure project success.

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to drive the successful execution of multiple IT projects. This role involves managing complex projects, coordinating resources, and ensuring all project objectives are met. You will be pivotal in maintaining client relationships and ensuring high standards of project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and scope.
• Develop detailed project plans that outline key tasks, milestones, resource allocations, and budget controls.
• Collaborate with the PMO to effectively manage resources, schedules, and capacity planning.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering comprehensive communication and reporting, including executive summaries to customer leadership, to ensure transparency and alignment with project goals.
• Facilitate effective internal communication with internal stakeholders, including Client Directors, Architects, PMO, and Leadership, to ensure alignment and support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Partner with the Service Delivery Leadership to coordinate project delivery on time and within budget constraints
• Apply appropriate project delivery methodologies, including Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches, based on project requirements and client needs.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies as required, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, while helping teams identify and remove delivery roadblocks.
• Maintain thorough project documentation, including status updates, progress reports, and post-project analyses.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all deliverables meet the required quality standards and client specifications.
• Strictly follow PMO standards, templates, and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency in project execution.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements of PMO processes and methodologies.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, project management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience directing medium to large-scale IT projects with varying degrees of complexity.
• Hands-on experience managing projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies, as well as traditional Waterfall and hybrid project delivery approaches.
• Experience working with cross-functional Agile teams, including sprint planning, backlog management, prioritization, estimation, and tracking project and sprint progress.
• PMP certification preferred; additional certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe, or PMI-ACP are a plus.
• Strong financial acumen related to budgeting, margin, revenues, and costs tracking
• Experience working with external clients
• Success in managing and delivering projects of varying sizes while handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of IT concepts and technologies including Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure, Networking & Connected Experiences, Cybersecurity, Data & AI, Autonomous Operations & Intelligence, and Enterprise Service Management.
• Experience in managing contractor relationships and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Demonstrated expertise in comprehensive project planning, budget management, and timeline coordination.
• Skilled in scope control, risk identification and mitigation, effective communication across all levels, decisive decision-making, and leading diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in using project management tools such as Smartsheet, NetSuite, and Microsoft 365 for effective project tracking and management.
