Job description

This role focuses on managing the Hyperscale Data Center projects for META, a large-scale, mission-critical initiative requiring exceptional leadership and expertise. The Project Manager will oversee every aspect of the project, from initial planning and procurement to final delivery, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a key leader in this high-profile build, the candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage resources, and resolve project challenges while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.

This opportunity offers exposure to cutting-edge technology in data centers, a collaborative work environment, and room for professional growth.

Relocation is not required for this role.

The Project Manager will travel to various data centers, and work on-site for approximately three weeks at a time. Each month, you will receive a fully paid three-day weekend trip home. Alternatively, the company offers the option to cover travel expenses for your family to visit you at the jobsite, ensuring a balance between work and personal life while supporting this critical project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct project kick-off meetings with Sales, Design, and Engineering teams.
  • Lead site walk-throughs and maintain strong relationships with trades and clients.
  • Oversee project budgets, procurement, and resource allocation.
  • Manage material and equipment delivery schedules to meet project milestones.
  • Coordinate installation and programming teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Handle all client communications, change orders, and project adjustments.
  • Monitor project timelines, address delays, and implement solutions to maintain progress.
  • Ensure on-site safety, cleanliness, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Provide client training and deliver detailed closeout packages, including warranty documentation.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to gather lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5 years of project management experience, including leadership and labor management.
  • 3 years of hyperscale data center experience, preferably on large-scale Microsoft projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, and electronics integration.
  • Valid Drivers License required.
  • Must be able to meet the travel demands.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

  • Bachelors degree in a related field.
  • Certifications such as RCDD, DCDC, or PMP.
  • Experience managing large teams (30+ technicians) in a full-build data center environment.

Nice-to-Have Experience for Higher Compensation:

  • RCDD or PMP certifications.
  • Expertise in tracking labor, materials, and budgets to maintain timelines and efficiency.
  • Confidence in addressing project delays and proposing actionable solutions to stakeholders.
  • Experience with Microsoft hyperscale data centers or similar mission-critical environments.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $90,000 $150,000 per year + quarterly bonus.
  • Daily per diem and hotel accommodations.
