Job description

Job Title: Project Manager – Plant Construction (Food & Beverage)

Location: Dallas, TX (relocation assistance provided)

We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead capital construction projects for new and existing facilities within the food and beverage manufacturing industry. This role will be based in Dallas and requires occasional travel to job sites across the U.S. (30–40%). The ideal candidate will oversee all phases of plant construction, from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence throughout the process.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end management of plant construction and expansion projects
  • Coordinate across internal teams, contractors, engineers, and vendors
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Oversee procurement and installation of processing and packaging equipment
  • Ensure compliance with industry safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Conduct on-site visits to monitor construction progress and resolve issues
  • Report project status to leadership and escalate risks as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience managing industrial construction projects; food & beverage industry a plus
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment installation, and utility systems
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Project or similar scheduling software
