Weekday AI, Dallas-based client, seeks a Project Engineer to oversee capital projects within a manufacturing setting, from concept through commissioning. You will support processing, packaging, and utility systems and manage projects end-to-end.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 3–5+ years of project engineering experience, with strong AutoCAD, MS Project, and financial controls, plus cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Finance and R&D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years of project engineering in manufacturing.
• Experience managing capital projects and plant initiatives.
• Familiarity with packaging, processing, utilities, and automation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Office Suite.
• Strong project management and financial control knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee capital projects from planning to completion.
• Manage equipment upgrades and facility improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Finance, R&D and vendors.
• Support new product introductions, expansions, and process optimization.
• Ensure safety, food safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Prepare specifications, project docs, and proposals.
• Lead continuous improvement and provide technical plant support.
