ConstructionExecs in Atlanta seeks an experienced Concrete Project Manager to join a growing national construction organization. You will own projects from preconstruction through closeout, working with field leadership, subcontractors, clients, and internal teams.

Ideal candidate has 3–5 years of PM experience in ground-up commercial/industrial construction, with strong knowledge of structural concrete and multi-story builds. The role is based in Atlanta with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is welcomed but not the determining factor.
• Relevant project experience and demonstrated performance are most important.

Responsibilities

• Manage concrete construction projects from planning through completion.
• Participate in estimating, budgeting, buyout, and preconstruction activities.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Coordinate with Superintendents and field teams to drive project execution.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, change orders, RFIs, and project documentation.
• Build relationships with clients and project partners.
• Monitor profitability and identify opportunities to improve performance.
• Visit jobsites regularly while primarily based in the Atlanta office.
• Take ownership of project outcomes and proactively resolve issues.

ConstructionExecs is conducting a search for an experienced Concrete Project Manager to join the growing Atlanta team of a highly regarded national construction organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional who is early enough in their career to still have significant runway, but experienced enough to have already taken ownership of projects. Our client is growing rapidly across the Southeast and is investing in its concrete construction capabilities. Their portfolio includes sophisticated ground-up commercial and industrial projects, including manufacturing, distribution, cold storage, mission-critical/data center facilities, and other large-scale developments.

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager who understands structural concrete construction and wants the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility, participate in preconstruction, manage projects, and grow within a highly entrepreneurial organization. As a Concrete Project Manager, you will own projects from preconstruction through closeout, working closely with field leadership, subcontractors, clients, and internal teams.

Required Skills

We're particularly interested in candidates with about 3–5 years of construction project management experience who can independently manage projects.

• The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience managing ground-up commercial or industrial construction
• Strong knowledge of structural concrete
• Experience with elevated or multi-story concrete construction
• Exposure to projects such as parking structures, manufacturing facilities, industrial facilities, distribution centers, data centers, or other substantial commercial construction
• Experience participating in estimating or preconstruction
• Demonstrated responsibility for their own projects rather than solely serving in an Assistant Project Manager capacity
• Strong financial and project controls capabilitiesExcellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A high level of personal accountability and initiative

Location & Travel

• This position is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
• It is not a traditional traveling Project Manager role. Most projects are located throughout the Southeast, and Project Managers primarily work from the Atlanta office while visiting their assigned projects as needed.
• Site visits will generally occur periodically based on project phase, location, and schedule. Occasional overnight travel may be required for projects outside normal driving distance.

Compensation

• The anticipated base salary is up to approximately $130,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
• However, candidates should evaluate this opportunity based on total compensation rather than base salary alone. Project-based incentive compensation and employee ownership can represent a meaningful component of the overall financial opportunity.
