Job summary

Westview is a Denver-area architectural lighting and theatrical integration firm seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee all project phases from start to finish. You will coordinate with sales, field service, and subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget while strengthening client relationships.

  • Five years of technical theater or construction experience.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Competent in conflict and management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal resources and subcontractors to ensure accurate, quality project execution.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives with relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Develop a detailed project timeline to monitor progress.
  • Collaborate with and direct the project coordinator to ensure data entry is properly managed.
  • Review and approve project billing and invoicing as necessary.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Report and escalate project issues to management as needed.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Create, organize, and maintain project-related documents.
  • Coordinate and direct subcontractors.
  • Read and understand contracts to ensure deliverables meet terms.
  • Collaborate with field service to determine scheduling and labor for installation.
  • Review daily reports and take action as needed.
  • Analyze, manage and mitigate potential project risks.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The employee filling the Project Manager position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of a project, taking ownership of the results from start to finish. This individual will regularly coordinate and collaborate with other departments, ranging from sales to field service, to help ensure the project is a success, and strengthen client relationships. The ideal candidate for this role will be an organized, enthusiastic person, able to remain calm under pressure, keep a tight rein on all details of a project. and maintain a constant readiness to learn and grow.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate internal resources and sub tier companies to ensure accurate, quality project execution
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop a detailed project timeline to monitor and track progress
  • Collaborate with, and give clear directions to project coordinator to ensure project related data entry is being appropriately managed
  • Review and approve project billing and invoicing as necessary
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
  • Report and escape project issues to management as needed
  • Manage and maintain positive relationships with clients and all stakeholders
