Job Description
  • Manages the installation of new businesses on a project basis, leading a team of Implementation Consultants and utilizing the client’s implementation methodology and toolset. Manages the project’s scope, hours estimate and change control, recalculating hours as necessary and communicating changes to management and sales while managing scope change follow‑up with the client.
  • Develops conversion strategies to ensure on‑time implementation, analyzes client specifications, determines the appropriate method for data conversion, and ensures correct set‑up of product features.
  • Generates and maintains key project documents—including work plans, status reports, issue and resolution logs, and change‑control documents—to communicate project status to the client and internal management teams, executes project control, resolves issues, maintains client profile data, and escalates issues to client executives as needed.
  • Develops and communicates the project plan tasks through MS Project, assigns tasks to the appropriate client team member.
  • Conducts a kickoff meeting with the client’s project team, reviews roles and responsibilities, introduces the implementation methodology, coordinates the turnover of new clients to Client Services management, provides all documentation needed for ongoing support, and establishes a list of open issues with assigned responsibilities.
  • Documents and provides the Resource Manager with input for performance appraisals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Professional certification preferred (PHR, CPP, PMP, etc.).
  • Experience managing HR/Payroll implementation teams of 3–5 associates.
  • Minimum of 1 year of project‑management experience in HR/Payroll implementations.
  • Proven ability to manage HR/Payroll implementations exceeding $100 k in annual revenue.
  • Proven ability to manage project workloads exceeding 1,000 hours.
  • Client product experience in Enterprise, PayForce, HRB, or PeopleSoft.
  • HR/PR experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 50 % of the time.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
