Job summary

Association for Talent Development (ATD) is seeking a Project Manager in Alexandria, VA, to coordinate technology initiatives and deliverables within a hybrid work model.

You will liaise between business stakeholders, IT, and vendors, ensuring on-time delivery, issue resolution, and quality standards across projects.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in business administration, project management, information systems, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in project management, preferably supporting technology initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing project tasks and timelines.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience using project management and work-tracking tools (Jira, ServiceNow, Wrike) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of assigned IT initiatives using established project management methodologies.
  • Coordinate the resolution of operational system issues by partnering with developers, supporting testing efforts, and facilitating deployment through established change management processes.
  • Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders on project progress and ensure satisfaction with the quality and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Coordinate project activities across business and technical teams to support successful implementation of system updates and technology initiatives.
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to align project tasks and support successful project delivery.
  • Support tracking and coordination of issue management, contracts, budgets, cross-charges, and monthly reporting.
  • Contribute to process implementation and continuous improvement efforts.
