Lockheed Martin is seeking a Production Planning professional to support manufacturing and production operations at Kings Bay. You will create and maintain work instructions and production orders, coordinate with engineering and SPK, and resolve MRP issues to align supply with demand.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance. It is fully on-site with potential off-hours support and the need to learn new software as required.

This is a Production Planning role in support of manufacturing and production operations in Kings Bay, Georgia. We are seeking a candidate that will be responsible for performing a variety of planning tasks in various buildings at SWFLANT, Kings Bay. Tasks such as the creation and maintenance of manufacturing work instructions, service/production orders and inspection instructions. Coordinate day-to-day efforts with production, engineering, and SPK organizations. Monitor and resolve material requirements planning (MRP) issues to ensure inventory balances support supply and demand requirements. Develop planning resource tools in support of operations using Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint; create manufacturing/production products, such as service/production orders within the applicable computer program. Ensure processing documentation is released in support of master schedule requirements. This position is fully onsite and may require occasional off-hours support. Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of manufacturing, operations, production, or planning environments
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal, presentation, written)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. Interim Secret required prior to start. No dual citizenship.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00
