Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando, FL is seeking a Manufacturing Planner Staff to drive MRPI activities, manage Make/Buy, BOM integrity, and ensure timely material flow across the supply chain. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to meet production schedules.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. This role offers a collaborative, fast-paced environment with opportunities to optimize processes

Qualifications

  • Proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs.

Responsibilities

Standard Job Description

You will be the Manufacturing Planner Staff for the Manufacturing Planning Team. Our team is responsible for driving inventory optimization, managing Make/Buy decisions, maintaining BOM integrity, and ensuring seamless material flow across the supply chain.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Planner Staff you will be responsible for executing Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) activities and coordinating cross-functional efforts to meet production schedules.

Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Perform Make/Buy and BOM planning to support production needs.
  • Optimize material flow and inventory levels to reduce cost and meet customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations Management to develop and execute time-phased plans.
  • Maintain MRP parameters, lead times, and lot sizes while managing change requests.
  • Provide shop-floor control, monitor schedule adherence, and expedite actions to preserve timelines.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance, therefore selected candidate must be a US Citizen
Desired Skills
  • Master's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Past experience in any of the following areas: Make/Buy/BOM Planning, Supply Chain, or equivalent
  • Ability to work with multiple levels of management, sites and centers
  • Windchill and MPMLink experience
  • Apriso and/or SAP experience
  • Inventory Control and material handling knowledge, including familiarity with material requirements and Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas of responsibility.
  • Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $89100.00 - $165500.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
