Job summary

Penn State University is seeking Project Management Interns for Spring 2027 and Summer 2027. Interns will assist with planning, coordination, and documentation for capital improvement and construction projects at University Park, gaining exposure to PMIS and budget tracking.

Interns may work up to 20 hours per week during fall/spring and up to 40 hours per week in summer, with compensation of $16 per hour for undergraduates and $17 per hour for graduates. A valid driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and an interest in project management, construction, engineering, architecture, or facilities management is preferred.
• Students pursuing degrees in construction management, architectural engineering, engineering, project management, business, or related disciplines are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, coordination, and execution activities.
• Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and construction conferences.
• Assist with project documentation, records management, and report preparation.
