Job summary

The Pennsylvania State University’s Office of the Physical Plant Design & Construction Department is seeking Project Management Interns for Spring 2027 and Summer 2027. Interns will support project managers on planning, meetings, documentation, schedule updates, budgets, and site visits at University Park.

Candidates should be pursuing degrees in construction management, architectural engineering, engineering, project management, business, or related disciplines and have strong MS Office and

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in construction management, architectural engineering, engineering, project management, business, or related disciplines.
• Excellent written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, coordination and execution activities.
• Participate in project meetings, design reviews and construction conferences.
• Assist with project documentation, records management and report preparation.
• Update project schedules, action item logs and project tracking systems.
• Support budget tracking, procurement and construction administration activities.
• Conduct site visits and construction observations.
• Collaborate with customers, architects, engineers, contractors and university stakeholders.
• Assist with PMIS and data management efforts.
