Job summary

Harvey Nash in Overland Park, KS, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead projects from concept through production. You will design and integrate hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems and create robust 3D CAD models, drawings, and BOMs.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Sales, Suppliers, and Customers, manage schedules and risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and apply solid project management and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of engineering experience in heavy equipment, mobile equipment, trucking, industrial machinery, or related industries.
  • Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, structural, and electrical systems.
