Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business/public administration, social work, human services, healthcare administration, project management, or related field required.
  • Five to seven years of progressively responsible leadership experience in nonprofit, healthcare, aging services, human services, or related environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing grants, contracts, programs, budgets, and organizational projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight for assigned agency programs and initiatives.
  • Direct the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic projects that support agency priorities and organizational growth.
  • Establish project management standards, processes, and performance metrics across the organization.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and facilitate collaboration among departments.
  • Manage agency special projects as assigned by the Chief Program Officer and Chief Executive Officer.
  • Develop project timelines, work plans, budgets, resource allocations, and performance measures.
  • Monitor progress of projects and initiatives, identify risks and barriers, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for agency leadership, Board committees, funders, and community stakeholders.
  • Support organizational strategic planning efforts and assist with implementation of strategic initiatives.
  • Provide direct supervision and support to the Elder Abuse Victims Specialist Program Manager and other assigned program leaders.
  • Ensure programs operate in accordance with agency policies, grant requirements, contract obligations, and applicable regulations.
  • Monitor program performance, outcomes, and quality indicators.
  • Assist program managers in identifying opportunities for growth, innovation, and sustainability.
  • Support the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Promote person-centered service delivery and continuous quality improvement throughout assigned programs.
  • Oversee implementation of program evaluations and outcome measurement activities.
  • Collaborate with Finance leadership and program managers to develop and monitor program budgets.
  • Review financial reports and ensure responsible stewardship of agency resources.
  • Assist with grant development, funding opportunities, reporting requirements, and grant compliance activities.
  • Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets and funding requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for diversification of funding sources and program sustainability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Program Officer or Chief Executive Officer consistent with organizational needs and employee qualifications.

Description

SUMMARY

The Project Management Director provides strategic leadership, oversight, and coordination for agency programs, initiatives, and special projects. This position is responsible for directing the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of organizational projects that support the agency's mission and strategic priorities.
The Project Management Director oversees designated program managers, including the Elder Abuse Victims Specialist Program Manager. The position is responsible for ensuring program excellence, regulatory compliance, fiscal accountability, and successful execution of agency-wide initiatives. The Director works collaboratively across departments and with community partners to advance organizational goals, strengthen service delivery, and manage special projects that may extend beyond the agency's elder abuse prevention programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide leadership and oversight for assigned agency programs and initiatives.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Work, Human Services, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or related field required. Will consider relevant experience.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Five to seven years of progressively responsible leadership experience in nonprofit, healthcare, aging services, human services, or related environments.
  • Minimum three years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing grants, contracts, programs, budgets, and organizational projects.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex initiatives.
  • Experience working with government-funded programs and regulatory requirements is a bonus.
  • Experience with strategic planning, organizational development, and change management preferred.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
