Job summary

Synectic Solutions, Inc. (SSI) is seeking a seasoned program analyst to support DoD aviation acquisition programs.

The role emphasizes analytical evaluation of objectives, risks, budgets, schedules, and performance data in a collaborative, government-facing environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Navy aviation programs, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with government customers and contractor teams to produce briefs, reports, and tracking

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus two additional years of relevant experience, or MS Degree with Active Secret clearance.
• Over 10 years of experience performing duties similar to the functional description.
• 5 years of experience supporting Naval aviation or comparable DoD acquisition programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for briefs, reports, and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Apply analytical techniques to evaluate program and project objectives, requirements, risks, and execution status.
• Analyze requirements, program status, budget information, schedules, and related performance data.
• Perform management, technical, or business case analyses to support program decisions.
• Collect, complete, organize, and interpret data related to aircraft, weapon, mission-system, acquisition, or product support programs.
• Track program and project status, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and action items.
• Prepare briefs, reports, meeting materials, data-call responses, point papers, and correspondence.
• Support program reviews, working groups, coordination meetings, and leadership updates.
• Apply government-established processes for documentation, change-control management, and data management.
• Coordinate with program management, acquisition, financial, logistics, engineering, and technical stakeholders.
• Maintain tracking products and provide clear, timely analysis to support government decision-making.

Education Substitution

• Associates degree plus four additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a master's degree.
• Six additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a master's degree.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting aircraft, weapons, mission systems, acquisition, sustainment, or product support programs.
• Experience preparing program review materials and tracking action items, schedules, risks, and deliverables.
• Strong analytical writing, data organization, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Work Environment

• This position supports a Department of War aviation acquisition program and may require on-site support at a government or contractor facility.
• The role requires frequent coordination with government customers, contractor teammates, and cross-functional technical and business teams.
• Work products may include program documentation, briefings, reports, schedules, financial inputs, action item trackers, and meeting support materials.
