Job summary

Ingalls Shipbuilding is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee operational aspects of ongoing shipbuilding projects. You will liaise between project management, planning, and line management to ensure alignment and timely delivery.

The role requires a strong background in shipbuilding processes, Aegis systems knowledge, and advanced MS Project/Power BI usage. You will review status, manage schedules, and report progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or Master’s with 4+ years.
  • Shipbuilding construction process knowledge required.
  • Aegis combat systems knowledge beneficial.
  • Knowledge of DDG51 ship systems preferred.
  • Material flow processes and best practices expected.
  • Understanding of Ingalls value stream and IFS working level.
  • Project management experience and cost control responsibility.
  • Technical writing skills essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Project and Power BI required.
