Overview

The Project Leadership function at Parexel drives success for clients and advances clinical research projects. As part of the Global Project Leadership organization, you will directly impact projects, teams, and clients, helping deliver projects to benefit patients. Dedicated members at all levels work with specific clients and deliver solutions customized to fit each client’s needs, on projects spanning all phases of global clinical trials across a wide array of therapeutic areas. Parexel currently has opportunities at the Project Leader (PM) and Senior Project Leader (SPM) level for candidates with experience leading global studies across multiple therapeutics for mid‑to‑large biotech/pharma clients.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership to project teams and manage day‑to‑day operations, striving for operational excellence through on‑time delivery, budget adherence, and highest quality, with a goal to exceed client expectations.

Lead activities in project scheduling, resource and budget management, and team coordination. Manage the full clinical development process through regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in a clinical or health‑related field (advanced degree preferred). Minimum 2+ years of experience leading global clinical trials in project management at a CRO, biotech, or pharma company.

Experience in project scheduling, managing resources and budgets, coordinating team activities, and full clinical development process through regulatory submissions.

For Senior Project Leader (SPM), Associate Project Director, and Project Director roles, additional years of experience are required.

Flexibility, problem‑solving capabilities, strategic vision, detail orientation, computer proficiency, superior interpersonal and organizational skills are essential.
