Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Project Leader to guide telecommunications and security construction programs. This direct-placement, on-site role will lead junior leaders, field superintendents and trades, shaping strategy, execution and profitable outcomes for complex datacenter projects in the NOVA region.

Responsibilities include overseeing design and deployment of integrated infrastructure, coordinating PKOM and KPR reviews, preparing submittals and change orders, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction specific to Telecommunications & Security Systems with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Science, Information Technology, Construction Management, or Engineering discipline.
• Proficiency in the Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling Method and General Contractor Schedules.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience & established knowledge in complex markets on projects specific to Federal Aviation, Government Airports, Higher-Education, Information Transit Systems.
• Ability to utilize software including Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Accubid, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office.
• No clearance required but ability to obtain.

• Leading the design and deployment of Integrated Infrastructure and telecommunications systems.

• Coordinating and running a project kick-off meeting (PKOM) and key monthly project (KPR) reviews.
• Researching and compiling submittals, identifying/pricing change orders and preparing estimates for projects.

Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring a Project Leader to a leadership position. They will be responsible for supporting the overall strategy, execution of deliverables, project completion & profitable outcomes. This is a direct placement role on-site at Ashburn, Virginia. The Project Leader is expected to provide overall development, training & leadership to Junior Project Leadership, Field-Superintendents & Trades personnel as it relates to the strategic planning, overall implementation & ownership of project completion. This is a great opportunity to join rapidly expanding datacenter work in the NOVA region.

Compensation for the Project Leader

• Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000 *depending on experience*
