Job summary

Samiotes Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level Land Surveyor I to work on boundary retracement, topographic, ALTA/NSPS surveys, subdivisions, and construction layout in Framingham, MA. You will support survey and mapping efforts across projects and collaborate with Civil Engineers and CAD staff.

The role requires 1–3 years in land surveying, a related degree, and familiarity with survey tech such as Total Stations and RTK GPS. We offer growth in a collaborative, sustainability-focused firm.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in Land Surveying.
• A.A. or B.S. in Surveying (or in a related field) from an accredited university.
• Registration as a Surveyor in Training (S.I.T.) is a plus.
• Familiarity with robotic and conventional Total Stations, Data Collectors and RTK GPS.
• Experience with Leica and Nikon equipment is a plus.
• Processing and drafting using Civil 3D is preferred.
• Laser Scanning experience, OSHA and MBTA ROW Certifications are plusses.

Samiotes Consultants, Inc., is a civil engineering and land surveying company specializing in land development and infrastructure that is sustainable – both economically and environmentally. We are located in Framingham, MA, and are a certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise in the State of Massachusetts. Samiotes’ work experience is diverse, ranging from state-of-the-art site infrastructure designs to sophisticated land use feasibility assessments. Since its inception in 1987, Samiotes has provided services to several market sectors, including colleges and universities, public and private secondary schools, non-profit institutions, financial institutions, industrial facilities, athletic franchises, libraries, hospitals + health care facilities, retail developers, and real estate investment trusts. Position Overview

We are searching for a Land Surveyor I (Entry-Level). The land surveyor will work with all aspects of land surveying including, Boundary Retracement Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Existing Conditions Surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Subdivisions, and Construction Layout.

• Processing and drafting using Civil 3D is preferred. Laser Scanning experience, OSHA and MBTA ROW Certifications are plusses.
