Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a Professional to Project Professional Geologist, Scientist, or Engineer to help grow our contaminated site assessment and remediation practices.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, supervise early professionals, and manage fieldwork, reporting, and client communications. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality environmental solutions, navigating regulatory requirements, and mentoring staff while advancing complex remediation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct environmental consulting experience
• Experience with federal/state regulations for contaminated site assessment/remediation (PA and neighboring states)
• Experience with hydraulic and contaminant transport modeling tools like MODFLOW, MT3D, GIS
• Proven leadership skills and ability to mentor staff
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and travel for client work
• Field work and overnight travel required
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
• HAZWOP ER training (preferred) with potential for refreshers

Responsibilities

• Develop site investigation, remediation, and monitoring proposals, strategies and plans for contaminated sites.
• Manage projects including planning, budgeting, communication with teams and clients, schedule adherence, profitability.
• Supervise, train, and mentor early career professionals.
• Collaborate with peers and other offices to deliver projects.
• Manage subcontractors as needed.
• Develop design and implement remedial action plans and evaluate environmental data.
• Prepare reports in line with regulatory and client requirements.
• Lead client meetings and interactions with regulators and stakeholders.
• Oversee fieldwork including sampling, drilling oversight, and remediation system operations.
