Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants seeks a Remediation Engineer or Geologist to support our contaminated site assessment and remediation practices in Ann Arbor, Detroit, or Grand Rapids. The role spans site characterization, design, and construction for challenging environmental projects.

The candidate will lead multi-disciplinary teams, drive business development, and oversee field activities, with opportunities to publish and present at industry conferences.

Qualifications

5+ years of environmental consulting experience (7+ preferred) or equivalent.
Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams.
Proven success in development and management of clients.
Demonstrated leadership and team mentoring skills.
Willingness to travel to client facilities and conduct field work, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

Lead business development and proposal efforts, and manage project budgets and schedules.
Manage and mentor junior staff and subcontractors on remediation projects.
Oversee field investigations, data collection, and report preparation.
Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams for PFAS and vapor intrusion initiatives.
Prepare technical reports, plans, specifications, and client communications.
