Job summary

Kelso Industries is hiring a Project Foreman in Dickinson, ND to oversee electrical construction projects from start to finish. You will supervise field crews, coordinate daily activities, and ensure safety, on-schedule, and on-budget delivery with top quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in electrical construction with at least 2 years in leadership, plus NEC knowledge and OSHA compliance. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred where required by state/local regulations.
• Minimum of 5 years electrical construction experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or foreman role.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and OSHA safety requirements.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead electrical crews on commercial, industrial, and energy projects.
• Plan, organize, and assign daily work activities to maximize productivity.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and customers.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and company quality standards.
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce OSHA safety regulations.
• Monitor project schedules, labor hours, and material usage.
• Order and track materials, tools, and equipment needed for projects.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate apprentice and journeyman electricians.
• Conduct daily jobsite meetings and safety briefings.
• Troubleshoot field issues and resolve problems efficiently.
• Complete daily reports, timekeeping, and project documentation.
• Perform quality inspections and ensure work is completed correctly before project closeout.
