Job summary

SET Environmental Inc. is seeking a Project Foreman in Port Arthur, TX to lead a crew on both scheduled and emergency response projects. You will ensure safety per SET policies, exceed client expectations, and coordinate equipment and supplies for project needs.

The role supports diverse environmental projects including CSE, remediation, waterway response, and hazmat cleanup; additional duties may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Minimum 2 years verifiable industry experience
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER and OSHA 10 or ability to obtain
• Basic Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Ability to respond to out-of-town projects as needed
• Ability to speak, read, and write English sufficiently
• Basic chemical knowledge
• Must pass DOT physical including drug and alcohol screening
• Valid Driver's License with clean record that meets SET insurance requirements

Job description

A Project Foreman at SET Environmental is responsible for:

• Leading a crew on both scheduled and emergency response-based projects
• Ensuring the health and safety of the crew, customer, and site by adhering to SET safety policies, and procedures by identifying, communicating, and mitigating hazards
• Ensuring client expectations are exceeded
• Coordination of equipment and supplies for project needs
• The support of various environmental projects ranging from, but not limited to:
  • Confined Space Entry - CSE
  • Environmental remediation
  • Waterway response
  • Hazardous materials clean up
• Will perform other miscellaneous duties as necessary

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
