Job Overview:

Project Floor Techs may work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities or locations in a health care campus. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Xanitos may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities, client requirements, and applicable industry standards.

Core Responsibilities:

• Monitors assigned areas and corridors for cups, spills, paper, and debris.
• Cleans all corners, edges, and baseboards in the assigned areas.
• Dusts mop all the hard floor areas, cleaning behind doors and moving objects in the floor area that are movable.
• Removes all marks/scuffs on the floor.
• Damps mop floors with the proper assigned cleaning chemical or use scrubbing machine.

Project Work:

• Utilizes floor machines for project work as assigned, machinery may include, Side by Side, Auto Scrubbers, and Burnishers.
• Burnishes floors using a high-speed floor machine as directed.
• Scrubs floors and strips floors as needed or assigned.
• May perform "Area Cleaner" job duties.
• Performs related work as required.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience in the janitorial industry.
• Medical cleaning is a plus.
• Experience with floor care equipment, cleaning products, and chemicals. Striping & waxing the floors and basic knowledge of Terrazzo floors.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening, and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent preferred.
