Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

For our European banking client, we are seeking a Project Finance Specialist to support the Green Infrastructure Finance team in structuring and executing financings across energy and digital infrastructure sectors. The ideal candidate will bring 1–3 years of experience in cash flow–driven project finance, strong credit analysis and modeling skills, and the ability to collaborate across legal, compliance, and treasury teams to deliver successful transactions.

Position Summary:

The Project Finance Specialist supports the CoC Green Infrastructure Team to create account profitability with new and assigned customers by using a range of banking products and structures in the energy project finance sector as well as project financing for digital infrastructure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support new transactions:

• Assist in the preparation and submission of the Structured Memo to GRM-CC for the front office portion of credit application for new transactions.

• Modeling of Cash-Flow and transaction structures, including cash flow analysis and rating preparation of new transactions

• Cooperation with other departments (e.g. legal, compliance, treasury, credit) during the credit approval process

• Supporting the transaction Due Diligence process (e.g. technical, insurance, legal, etc.)

• Execution of transaction documentation

• Support the KYC process for the onboarding of new clients as well as the KYC renewals for clients within the portfolio.

Support Relationship Management:

• Execution of all internal and external communication within the scope of the portfolio management duties

• Preparation of client presentations prior to client meetings

• Miscellaneous support during client meetings

• Research of prospects, market and technology developments, transaction closings and structures

Portfolio Management (in support of CoC GIF Americas Transaction Managers):

• Ongoing monitoring of existing project finance portfolio with regards to construction and operation

• Annual preparation of transaction reviews including Cash Flow Analysis and Rating update

• Execution of amendment and waiver requests for existing transactions as needed.

• Analysis of portfolio and/or single transaction profitability based on return on equity measurements.

• Maintain all relevant internal IT-tools in order to keep highest data quality level.

Experience /Qualifications/Education:

• At least 1-3 years of experience in structuring cash-flow driven financings with experience specific to financing of data centers on a project finance basis. Experience with energy related project financing a preference but not required.

• Solid credit analysis skills

• Good communication and presentation skills

• Demonstrates strong initiative and works independently.

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
