Gotyu Underwear, the fastest growing underwear brand in Europe, is looking for an A-Player financial controller to help reach their next milestone.

Thanks to unique marketing strategies and disruptive products, we doubled revenue each year with no external funding.

We seek a detailed-oriented, experienced, and proactive Financial Controller & Bookkeeper to help us scale from 8-figures to 9-figures in revenue and profit.

Tasks

• Develop detailed financial forecasts to guide business decisions.
• Calculate product margins and optimize profit.
• Track inventory costs and ensure accuracy of inventory records.
• Analyze financial data, including return rates, to recommend sales prices.
• Manage and maintain accurate P&L statements, balance sheets, and financial ratios.
• Create scenarios based on strategic decisions.
• Prepare tax returns, manage sales tax filings, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Collaborate to achieve a profit target of 20%.
• Provide insights to improve financial performance.
• Manage cash flow and understand internal cash movements.
• Use Finaloop software for financial record-keeping.
• Leverage knowledge of U.S. financial regulations relevant to e-commerce.
• Offer strategic insights into the financial health of brands with many SKUs.

Requirements

• Master's Degree or equivalent in Financial Controlling, Accounting, or related field with 2+ years of experience.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Bookkeeper, or similar in e-commerce.
• Experience managing over 800 SKUs in an e-commerce setting.
• Knowledge of fashion e-commerce is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial forecasting, profit optimization, and cash flow management.
• Familiarity with Finaloop or similar software.
• Deep understanding of U.S. financial regulations for e-commerce.
• Expertise in Excel and data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of inventory management's financial implications.
• Understanding of international tax regulations and transfer pricing.
• Ability to develop financial controls and risk strategies.
• Experience preparing financial statements per GAAP.
• Excellent communication skills for non-financial stakeholders.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Certifications like CPA, CMA, or CIMA are highly desirable.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.
