Job summary

X-energy LLC is seeking an intern to assist the corporate development and leadership teams with strategic finance, financial analysis, and partnerships. This on-site 10-week program supports a growing energy transition company and offers exposure to capital formation, M&A, and business strategy.

The role requires current enrollment in or recent completion of a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or engineering, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and the right to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5–7 years in finance-related roles.
• Strong financial modeling capabilities.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with PowerPoint.
• Experience with strategy development and market analysis.
• Right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to corporate development strategy and capital planning.
• Lead execution of core tasks with some independence.
• Mentor junior team members on core tasks.
• Develop financial models in Excel and presentations in PowerPoint.
• Prepare materials for meetings with executives and investors.
