Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking a Project Executive in NYC to lead a portfolio of complex heavy mechanical and civil construction programs. This senior role places you on the leadership team with direct input into strategy, team development, and business growth.

You’ll oversee Project Managers and field teams, drive project performance across safety, schedule, cost and quality, and cultivate key client relationships. NYC experience is highly preferred and ownership access is offered.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of construction experience, ideally in Heavy Mechanical / Heavy Civil.
• Proven experience leading multiple large-scale projects or programs.
• Strong commercial and operational understanding.

A well-established NYC-based mechanical & civil contractor is looking for a Project Executive to join its leadership team and take ownership of a major program of work.

This is a high-impact position for a proven construction leader who wants more than just another project, you’ll have a seat at the leadership table, influence company strategy, develop teams, and help shape the next stage of the business.

The Role:

• Lead a portfolio/program of complex heavy mechanical construction projects
• Oversee Project Managers, Superintendents and project teams
• Drive financial performance, schedule, quality and client relationships
• Develop and implement operational strategy and processes
• Partner directly with company leadership on growth and business development
• Mentor and develop the next generation of leaders

What We're Looking For:

• 15+ years of construction experience, ideally within Heavy Mechanical / Heavy Civil industry
• Proven experience leading multiple large-scale projects or programs
• Strong commercial and operational understanding
• Excellent leadership, communication and client management skills
• NYC construction experience strongly preferred
