Navigate Search, Indianapolis-based, is seeking a Project Executive to lead healthcare construction projects in the region. This senior role drives project performance, strategic planning, and client relationships across multiple facilities.

You will mentor Project Managers and Superintendents, oversee budgets and schedules, support preconstruction and proposals, and help grow the company's healthcare project pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive construction experience with a reputable GC.
• Senior-level construction/project leadership experience.
• Experience overseeing multiple complex commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of operations, contracts, scheduling, and risk.
• Ability to lead and develop project teams and client relationships.
• PM/LEED/PE/PMP certifications are a plus.

Position Overview

A well-established and growing general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Executive to provide leadership across Healthcare construction projects. This is a high-impact opportunity for a construction professional who can oversee project performance, lead project teams, maintain strong client relationships, and help drive operational and business development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background with a general contractor and a proven track record of managing large, complex projects from preconstruction through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level oversight and leadership across multiple construction projects.
• Manage overall project performance, including budget, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
• Lead and mentor Project Managers, Superintendents, and other construction professionals.
• Review project budgets, schedules, staffing plans, contracts, and risk management strategies.
• Identify potential project issues and implement solutions to maintain schedule and financial performance.
• Assist with contract negotiations and resolution of complex project issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, clients, subcontractors, architects, and other project stakeholders.
• Participate in preconstruction, estimating, proposal development, and client presentations as needed.
• Support business development efforts and help identify opportunities with new and existing clients.
• Establish and maintain project quality, safety, and operational standards.
• Work closely with executive leadership on strategic planning, operational improvements, and company growth initiatives.
• Develop and maintain high-performing project teams through mentorship, coaching, and performance management.
• Monitor project risk, contractual issues, claims, and other potential exposures.
• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive construction experience, preferably with a reputable general contractor.
• Significant experience in a senior-level construction/project leadership position.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing multiple complex commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction operations, project financials, contracts, scheduling, and risk management.
• Proven ability to lead and develop Project Managers, Superintendents, and other field/office personnel.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of organization and accountability.
• Strong business development and relationship-building abilities are a plus.
• Experience with construction management/project management software.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, LEED, PE, or similar are a plus.
