Southland Industries is seeking an experienced project leader to manage large project teams or multiple small projects. You will serve as the primary point of contact for project teams, provide status updates to clients and leadership, and drive revenue opportunities.
Applicants should have a four-year degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, 12+ years in the field with 5+ years in people management, and strong skills in CADD, ERP, and Microsoft Office.
This position is responsible for managing a large project team/multiple project teams, or multiple small projects including staffing and performance appraisals. Serves as primary point of contact for project team(s).
Provides project status updates to client and leadership.
Maintains solid client relationships and continuously sources opportunities for revenue.
Develops and implements strategies.
Manages budget reports, cost and revenue projections, change orders, etc. for project.
Participates in project meetings with internal departments.
Delegates work and serves as mentor to project team. Provides coaching and performance feedback as necessary.

Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For Virginia this ranges from $165,949.00 - $202,826.00 plus annual incentive, benefits, and retirement program as outlined above.
