Project Executive - Major Construction Projects
Multiple U.S. Locations | Onsite at Project Sites Nationwide (Not Remote)
A top-10 ENR General Contractor with more than $5 billion in annual revenue is hiring Project Executives for major project sites across the United States.
This is a full-time opportunity for experienced construction leaders who can oversee large, complex projects and lead project teams from preconstruction through final completion. The company is also open to accomplished Senior Project Managers who are ready to step into a Project Executive position.
Projects include commercial construction, data centers, healthcare, industrial facilities, stadiums, life sciences, and other large-scale developments.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading one or more major construction projects from preconstruction and procurement through execution, turnover, and closeout
- Providing executive-level oversight of project performance, including safety, quality, schedule, cost, risk, and client satisfaction
- Managing and mentoring Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and other project team members
- Establishing project goals, responsibilities, reporting structures, and accountability across the project team
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and other project partners
- Overseeing project budgets, forecasts, cash flow, cost reporting, change management, and overall financial performance
- Supporting in business development
- Helping recruit, develop, and retain high-performing project teams
What we're looking for:
- 10 years of progressive construction management experience with a General Contractor
- Proven experience as a Project Executive, Project Director, Senior Project Manager, or similar construction leadership professional
- Accomplished Senior Project Managers who are ready to step into a Project Executive role are encouraged to apply
- Experience delivering large, complex projects in commercial, data center, healthcare, industrial, stadium, life sciences, or similar sectors
- Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, contracts, scheduling, procurement, change management, and risk
- Demonstrated success leading project teams and managing relationships with sophisticated clients and project partners
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to protect project profitability while maintaining positive client relationships
- Experience managing projects from preconstruction through final completion and closeout
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment
- Willingness to work onsite at an assigned project location is required
- Flexibility to travel or relocate between project sites is strongly preferred
- Experience with industry-standard construction and project management software is beneficial
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred
- Strong, consistent job tenure is important
Compensation & benefits:
- Base salary up to $250,000, depending on experience and project requirements
