About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead the successful delivery of large-scale, complex construction projects in the Dallas market. This is a senior leadership position for a construction professional who can take ownership of project strategy, client relationships, financial performance, and overall execution from preconstruction through completion.
The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a strong track record managing major commercial construction projects and developing high-performing project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive-level leadership and oversight for large, complex construction projects.
- Own overall project performance, including safety, schedule, quality, cost, and client satisfaction.
- Lead and mentor Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams.
- Establish project strategy, goals, budgets, schedules, and execution plans.
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders.
- Oversee project financial performance, forecasting, buyout, change management, and profitability.
- Identify and proactively manage project risks, challenges, and opportunities.
- Provide executive reporting and regular project updates to company leadership.
- Support business development efforts and help develop long-term client relationships.
- Participate in preconstruction, estimating, contract negotiations, and project pursuits as needed.
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with company standards and contractual requirements.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive construction experience, with significant experience leading large-scale projects.
- Proven experience as a Project Executive, Senior Project Manager, or similar senior construction leadership role.
- Experience managing complex commercial, institutional, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, or other major construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, financial management, scheduling, procurement, and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple project teams and influence senior-level stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong client relationship and business development capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field preferred.
