Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as a Project Executive / Senior Leader within electrical construction.
• Extensive on-site construction experience is required.
• Experience working for an electrical contractor (not only GC/client side).
• Strong background delivering mission-critical / data center projects (hyperscale preferred).
• Deep understanding of electrical systems and safety standards (NEC/ OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight across multiple data center projects or large-scale programs.
• Lead project teams including Senior PMs, PMs, Superintendents, and field staff.
• Act as primary escalation point with clients, general contractors, and stakeholders.
• Drive project performance across safety, quality, schedule, and financial targets.
• Oversee commercial strategy, including contracts, risk management, cost control, and profitability.
• Plan resources and manpower across sites; govern RFIs, submittals, change management, procurement.
• Champion QA/QC, NEC compliance, OSHA standards, and safety culture.
• Lead commissioning, turnover, and client handover strategies for mission-critical systems.
• Identify risks and implement proactive delivery solutions at scale.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Executive to lead the successful delivery of large-scale, mission-critical data center projects. This is a site-based executive leadership role with a leading electrical contractor, overseeing multiple projects, senior teams, and key client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in on-site electrical construction and must have previously worked for an electrical contractor, with a proven track record delivering complex, high-value projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight across multiple data center projects or large-scale programs
• Lead project teams including Senior PMs, PMs, Superintendents, and field staff
• Act as the primary escalation point and strategic interface with clients, general contractors, and stakeholders
• Drive overall project performance across safety, quality, schedule, and financial targets
• Oversee commercial strategy, including contract negotiation, risk management, cost control, and profitability
• Ensure effective project planning, resource allocation, and manpower strategy across sites
• Maintain governance over RFIs, submittals, change management, and procurement processes
• Champion QA/QC, NEC compliance, OSHA standards, and safety culture across all projects
• Lead commissioning, turnover, and client handover strategies for mission-critical systems
• Identify risks and implement proactive solutions to ensure successful delivery at scale

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Executive / Senior Leader within electrical construction
• Must have extensive on-site construction experience
• Must have worked for an electrical contractor (not solely GC/client side)
• Strong background delivering mission-critical / data center projects (hyperscale experience preferred)
• Deep technical understanding of electrical systems (MV/LV, substations, switchgear, UPS, generators, critical power infrastructure)
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and multiple concurrent projects/programsStrong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L, contracts, and high-value project portfolios
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
