Job summary

Southland Industries in Houston, TX seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee a large project team or multiple projects, acting as primary contact for project teams and clients.

You will source revenue, develop strategies, and manage budgets, change orders, and performance metrics while mentoring staff and leading cross-functional meetings in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Engineering, or applicable experience.
• Minimum 12 years’ experience, including minimum 5 years’ people management experience.
• Mastery knowledge of applicable systems design, such as HVAC, plumbing, etc., as well as all design engineering aspects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communication with all levels of employees, clients and general contractors.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Proven ability to lead a large team.
• Strong public speaking ability.
• Strong computer skills, including CADD, ERP and Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel.
